Arapahoe, NebraskaArapahoe is a charter member of ACE, joining the organization in 1998. As an ACE member, Arapahoe received more than $10,000 that the community has used for enhancements for its park, including installing a drinking fountain, sidewalk and sprinkler system. Located in Furnas County in southwest Nebraska, the community of 1,028 residents is home to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, a Veteran’s Memorial and numerous other recreational attractions. The city was listed among the Best Places to Raise Your Kids in 2007 by Businessweek.com.
